The shadow you see in the photos is the 2” maple showing through the light linen. Based on lighting, this adds a unique visual depth, meant to enhances the piece freely, much like a frame.

Shipping, as-is (mounted to maple) will be around $180 in the lower 48. Shipping rolled, will be around $30 due to the light-weight nature of this canvas.
